Are quick questions and answers actually good for wisdom and understanding tho? I remember NT Wright giving a talk on knowledge at Google and pointing out the pitfalls of instant access information, besides just inaccuracy. Seems that having to flip thru pages and mull over the process is more formative than an AI query.
Excellent point. It’s in the solitude of intentional focus that the Holy Spirit brings texts to life. Many times I sit down to hear the Lord & the writer will be writing about a particular topic yet a phrase or sentence of 2 will jump out at me. I then write out my expanded thoughts. All of it, I hope & I believe, is His Holy Spirit using me to convey His message through me. These aren’t things that any clip or bot can duplicate or emulate.

I’ve heard that the US congress has a committee discussing this AI technology. The lead creator & CEO of chatgpt has some strong warnings about the potential dangers of this technology. We shouldn’t write off this new technology like we did the internet in the early years. I enjoy sci-fi movies & shows, this technology has been on creatives minds for years with regards to the future. What we must remember is that Christ is King & keep Him at the center of our minds, lives & hearts then all the movements in society & culture we will be able to navigate.
