He posits "Adam" (humanity) was given the vocation of being a "priest". N.T. Wright says our vocation is to bear the Divine Image. Not nearly enough is made of this as we (at the ones who show up on Sunday) tend to think of ourselves as a loosely connected group of personal salvation projects.
