As I have read these two posts, I wonder if there is a complementarity between petitionary prayer and eschatological hope, if there is such a thing. Could it be that our petitions have been already answered in the incarnation, not in the intervention of a strong God that will fix everything? The incarnation invites us to be in the here and now, reminding ourselves that God is with us in our beauties and afflictions. I am struggling with your publications, in a good way.
