I would advise people to read the books of Jeremiah and Lamentations to get a grasp of the weeping prophet who very few people listened to.

I love the idea of the addict as the prophet but that that might be a fig newton of my and the author of that mentioned books imagination. Since I’m assured that I know and understand the accurate biblical gospel, I side with the author of that book

I really like this approach angle at the spiritual malady manifestation of addiction. Carl Jung & William Silkworth both identified, for once in the early 1900’s, the medical piece of addiction that catapulted recovery from addiction making recovery possible for more people than ever. Addiction, historically speaking, has been around “as long as men have crushed grapes”. The failing of morality, common among addicts, is, in my mind, unequivocally credited to the absence of God, value & true purpose. Again the idea of the addict being the mirror that shows society where their ideas are failing is intriguing. I’m also excited to read this series.

Looking forward to this. I'll say at the outset that no matter how complex your theory of addiction, it's too simple.
