The goal in any Jesus related fellowship, be it a church or a school or even political I suppose (not totally sure that’s possible) should be transformation of the individual people, not particular tasks. It’s “becoming” rather than “doing”. Most organizations miss this either because the vision is too short-term or because transformation is so much more difficult.
...and the becoming, looking at who we are vs justifying the action, when we use Jesus as the goal may show that our warrant theology actually leads to behavior that is "Unbecoming" of the christian individual.
