I guess we prefer a hard magic systematic theology, a religion of Mammon/capitalism and Tekton/science to control our environments, exploit the created order, and ease our anxieties. I guess we don't like that God is Mystery. I guess we don't like that God took on blood, sweat, urine, cross, nails, and death. I guess that we don't like that sometimes God is taking a nap in the boat while we are staring at the tossing waves.
