Very good, Richard. Thank you. Your post reminded me of a book I've been reading called "Soul Rest" by Curtis Zackery. He is a pastor who is so honest about his internal battles and continues to say that to be at rest in one's soul means to regularly rest in the finished work of Christ. I love that. Regardless of my performance, Jesus deeply loves me, has forgiven me and calls me to rest in Him because what He accomplished on the cross and resurrection and to allow His Spirit fill me with His peace and joy. And to be free of productivity and to just enjoy HIs presence -- as you said so well in your last sentence. - Jim Clark
