"Eliminating Greek philosophy from Christian thought, therefore, would render the grammar of the creeds incomprehensible." Unfortunately it's just the opposite for me. The mystery and wonder of direct communion with the Father which Jesus experienced and shared with his people is enough for me. Without the elaborate cosmology that dueling 2nd and 3rd century theologians invented.
