I love this so much... my life really changed when I moved from thinking about following God as having to do x or y to be approved by Him, and to realizing that it’s a relationship with ebb and flow but an underlying commitment to stay with God, keep choosing Him over and over, because He is worth following and worth trusting.

Discipleship is a matter of “being”, not “doing”. The real question then would be “How would Jesus be?” rather than “What would Jesus do?”
