All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
My big takeaway is how politics is draining, in the sense of trying to keep up with it without feeling anger, resentment, or constant frustration with how it operates these days. It saps my mental energy to focus on other intellectual interests and my spiritual life, so I am trying to put a cap on how much news and punditry I consume. I like to be informed about the news and policy because I enjoy it, but insofar as my consumption exceed that, I need to draw a line and stick to it.
Thank you for a great series, Richard. Always appreciate the psychological and spiritual guidance you provide to me and no doubt to many.
A very nice end to this series, and a great challenge for 2023.
Here is what would happen in your scenario:

They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
I would want to stuff the ballot box in favor such a proposal.
