I remember being really disturbed when I read the novel. Not terrified, but quietly disturbed is the best way I can describe it! It has got horror elements to it! I remember being a bit scared to turn the light out before I went to bed 🤣I also remember it was a brilliant book.
Yes, I can see how it would provoke deep thought about the ‘host’ and The Presence and what could actually be going on with the bread and the wine - The real presence of Christ, to combat the real presence of evil.
