This is a great example of what I call “This is what I feel but this is what I think” Psalm. Seems like over and over you’ll see this formula in the Psalms. It’s a formula for positive mental health: 1. Confession/expression of emotion 2. Changing (Renewal) your mind with different thinking (Rom. 12:2). We just finished a series about emotions with our youth emphasizing this formula.
